Substantial frontend modernization that translated marketing and Adobe XD requirements into responsive React interfaces, paired with important C#/.NET backend refactoring.
Challenge
I inherited a frontend built substantially with JavaScript and Knockout.js that had become difficult to maintain and extend. The product needed a stronger frontend structure and more consistent behavior across screen sizes.
Design-to-code execution
I translated UI and design requirements from the marketing team, including Adobe XD designs, into production React interfaces. The work included responsive implementation, CSS animations, visual presentation, interaction refinement, usability improvements, and UI debugging.
Full-stack modernization
I migrated and refactored major frontend functionality to React while also refactoring important C#/.NET backend code and working across HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and SQL. The engagement combined user-facing product improvement with broader architectural modernization.
Outcome
The modernization improved maintainability, readability, scalability, responsiveness, usability, interaction quality, and visual presentation. This was proprietary commercial work; source code is not public.
