A customized ecommerce experience for funeral flowers
WordPress and WooCommerce customization for a Danish online flower service, including local payment methods and product-specific checkout workflows.
Challenge
The store needed to support the sensitive, specific process of ordering flowers for funerals. Standard ecommerce behavior did not fully cover its product messaging, greeting-card, checkout, and Danish payment requirements.
Contribution
I customized WordPress and WooCommerce functionality, added product-specific message and greeting-card behavior, adapted checkout fields, and integrated Visa/Dankort and MobilePay payment options.
Outcome
The implementation provided a purpose-built purchasing flow while retaining the content and commerce capabilities of WordPress and WooCommerce.
